This is a mountain road so drive safely as there are lots of sharp turns. Vault toilets, dating hiking and fishing. They waited hours for a repairman then a tow truck.

Some fun to be had in the arcades, but generally it is an older crowd. There are a lot of guys around the toilets, too. The disc golf course, driving range, dating a muslim and archery range were in serious need of maintenance. Overall a nicely maintained quiet park. There is a nominal camping fee in most cases.

See Oregon's largest Ponderosa Pine tree! Located in central Oregon there's lots of dirt and dust unless the area is irrigated. Our site was quite close to our neighbors, and the hookups are such that if you want to sit at your table, you'll be right next to your neighbors sewer connection. Went last week and got pounded by four guys. We did not use the bathrooms or laundry so I have no opinion about that.
WiFi is available in the quaint town square in Bend. The best camping near Bend, Oregon. Next time we will just rent one of the cool retro trailers instead of towing ours to Bend. The colossal volcano is a launch pad for every kind of Oregon adventure you can imagine.
You do have to wade a narrow stretch of the river as the site is on an island. Deschutes National Forest. Go for the overnight camp-out at the west end. The new business in there as of September is Burgerville. State and National Parks are higher priced.
They just need to be more customer focused. In fact, there are some who purposely come after the park closes on the weekend. Otherwise the one night deposit will be forfeited.
